It's the event you've all been waiting for...
The "Mondial de Tatouage" (World Tattoo Convention) is back after 13 years of retirement, and is taking place over three days at the excellent 104 arts space in Paris' 19th arrondissement.
From the 22-24th March, the 104 will be invaded by a lot of colourful bodies, chomping at the bit to show off their artistic skills.
Get ready to rethink your ideas on the art of tattooing: this year will see the exploration and juxtaposition of contemporary as well as traditional techniques and styles.
The 104 is an arts space to the north of Paris which seeks to bring together urban culture, art and the community. Forget that it was once both a morgue and a slaughterhouse, 104 has great things going on every day of the week: from circus rehearsals to kids workshops and "arts énergétiques" which looks like a sort of yoga class.
Check out the exhibitions, the restaurant, bookshop, boutiques and children's play area, or simply relax in the deckchairs with a book in the outside courtyard now that the weather's being kind.
They also host band nights. You can find the music programme for March-June 2013 here. Or if theatre is more your thing, here's what's on-stage. It's a great venue, little known outside of Paris, but it wont stay that way for long.
